How to Prioritize Self-Care While Juggling Motherhood: Tips for Balancing Personal Health

Last week I had the opportunity to be a guest speaker at @happy.strong.family podcast. This was my first time going on a video podcast that was streamed LIVE.


I remember asking brother Kashif if the video would be edited in case I fumbled or blacked out. He said we don’t edit anything at all. It’s all there from start to finish 😅


Being nervous and anxious is an understatement. My heart was racing and palms were sweaty.


I think that’s what normally happens when you experience something as exhilarating as sitting in front of HUGE video and light equipment for the first time!


I felt like I was on some news channel. 😂




But I know that in order to “grow and learn” one must be ready to embrace a little discomfort that comes with new opportunities. ✨


All this to say I had the MOST incredible and memorable time at @happy.strong.family


Sister Muntaha and brother Kashif made sure my family and I were comfortable. And I am so grateful for this wonderful opportunity. Alhamdulillah 🩵
