This honey garlic chicken and potatoes recipe will make you and your family DROOL! š¤¤
This recipe was discovered by my husband and we love him EXTRA when he makes it over the weekend. š„°
INGREDIENTS:
For Marinating the chicken:
8 Bone-in skin off chicken thighs + legs
3 tbs Honey
1 tbs Soy sauce
3 cloves garlic crushed
salt and pepper to taste
2 tbs cornstarch
For Potatoes:
6 small potatoes cut into cubes
Olive oil 1 Tbs
Salt to taste
Pepper - 1/2 tsp
Garlic Powder - 1 tsp
For the Gravy:
2 cups chicken broth
2 tbs butter
1/4 cup honey
2 tbs soy sauce
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
3 garlic cloves crushed
1 tbs cornstarch
METHOD:
1. Marinate the chicken thighs for 1 hour
2. Toss the potatoes in olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder
3. Bake the potatoes at 425 F for 20 minutes
4. Pan-fry the chicken in olive oil until golden brown
5. Make the gravy
6. Place the chicken and potatoes together in a baking tray and pour the gravy
7. Bake at 425 F for 45 minutes
Enjoy with steamed white rice or just with a bowl of your favourite salad. I have tried both!
